should i work through it?

hiya, i've done something to my arm. not sure what, it hurts now and again when i lift it but mainly when i put it back (as in chest press position), took yesterday off from the gym but im itching to get back! should i work through it gently and not push it too hard or rest it again?

    maybe you pulled a muscle? i did that sunday in my shoulder, hurts when i breathed in and made certain movements.. i just kept on going even when it hurt a little bit.. keep moving but don't push it too much to where you really can't stand the pain.
