Just getting serious about dropping all the weight I want to shed. 50 lbs. Would settle for 35 or 40 but that's the REAL goal.

I don't plan to "diet"but to eat healthy and eat more protein than fats and carbs, exercise moderately, and drink lots of water and green iced tea. I find that I need lots of water and no cal drinks to keep my water weight DOWN..otherwise the big BLOAT.
Planning to get some protein shakes that are healthy to use as meal replacements for breakfasts and occasional lunch.
Anyone have success stories here> anyone my age or so? I'll be 60 next January. The dreaded menopause I started over 10 years ago seems to have really wreaked some havoc on me weight wise. I'm sure I'm not the only one. Some days it just feels hopeless but I KNOW it's not if I change my eating and exercise habits and don't weight myself constantly.

Welcome, and good luck! I'm in my early 20s, but still have approx 50 pounds to lose. Feel free to friend me if you'd like some extra support in your journey!
