Healthiest Vegetarian Chinese Food?

At a typical take-out Chinese restaurant, what is the healthiest vegetarian option? I used to get fried rice or lo mien with an egg roll, but it was probably a ridiculous amount of calories. What is something that would be better?

stay away from fried rice; ridiculous calories. egg rolls are also fried food so i dont eat them.

I eat steamed rice with the chop suey veggies. I love Chinese food too.0

I get Kung Pao Tofu with steamed tofu rather than fried, (the veggies are steamed as well) and the sauce on the side. I order this with brown instead of white rice. The brown rice is a low GI food that will last with you and keep you feeling full. And the choice of tofu is only because we chicken a lot.
That way I can actually measure what I eat. It's easy to scoop out 1/2 c. rice, 1/2 c. tofu, 1 c. veggies and 1-2 tbsp. kung poa sauce. It is really spicy, so a little goes a long way. My husband and I will split an order of shrimp summer rolls as an appetizer--a steamed alternative to spring rolls that are really delicious.

When in doubt, opt for brown over white rice, steamed (anything) over fried, and sauce on the side if possible. Measure your portion rather than eating right out of the container so at the very least, you eat a reasonable amount (aka not the whole thing!).0
