Hi all

I'm a 30 year old mum of 2 from Lincs, UK.

I heard that the shape you're in when you hit 30 is the one you're stuck with for the rest of your life. This terrifies me and I'm determined that it will not be the case!! Especially as now I'm bigger than I ever have been including being pregnant! :( I'm not just worried about the lbs though, I've been finding it difficult to keep up with my 2 boys and frequently sit on the sidelines watching them play football when really I should be out on the field with them... Plus, my poor dog is getting nearly as round as I am!

I found this app on my other half's phone and have found it really helpful so far. Lost 10lbs in the last 3 months although still yo-yoing a little. So I've made a proper profile on the pc and hoping to make some friends that understand how challenging it can be to fit a healthy lifestyle around work, a busy family and a budget.

Weighing in at 197lbs right now (eek!!) and realistically aiming for 154 although 147 would be nice :)

    HI

I have also been trying to follow this on my phone and tonight is the first time i've thought to log onto a computer and check out the site! I've found it all really useful so far - however would really like a few friends on here for a morale boost and some encouragement and advice when needed.

I'm 30 myself with three kids and 3 dogs too look after and of course I forgot the biggest kid of all ........... my husband!! :)

If you would like to add me as a friend then please feel free!!

I know and can understand what you mean about keeping up with the kids. I was blessed with a 3 year old and a 10 month old baby later in my life (I'm 42 now). I started my weight just about the same with yours and I'm determine to at least be close 10-20 lbs lighter by the time my son turns 1 this year. You can do this! This site is great for support and tools you'll need in order to succeed. Welcome to MFP and goodluck!
