    I feel like I repeat this to my 11-yr old several times a week. He's usually pretty levevel-headed and can say "whatev" to people, but there's this one neighbor kid that's supposed to be his friend that just gets under his skin. He's such a tool to my son sometimes....

    I totally agree that I am in control of how I react to a situation. I can either choose to let it go and be quiet, or speak up about it. I do both, depending on the situation.
