I wasn't looking to buy a jogging stroller but recently my regular strollers tires went flat. I'd like to purchase a good jogging stroller that can also be taken out for walks or like to our trip to Disneyland next month. My daughter is almost 2 years old and is pretty tall for her age. I basically want something she'll fit in as she continues to grow and something that lasts for me to run with AND take with me for all other activities/outings. Shade is also important for when she decides to nap while out there. And reclining. Any recommendations?

I wonder if it's even possible to find what I'm looking for on my budget. (under 200). I'm willing to do a craigslist purchase for the right stroller though so please give me your recommendations. Thank you!

See if you can find a BOB Revolution on craigslist (the old model is just fine!). The wheel can be fixed for jogging, but can also turn when you're walking with it. It pushes like a dream; I can't stand using other strollers.

We have two girls (27 and 14 months) and both are > 97% on height. We love love love our InStep Double Grand Safari. They have single models as well, both are under $200 new from shops on eBay. Check this site for product info, www.InStep.net

Go with the swivel wheel on the front and you can use it everywhere from the mall to the zoo to the track or greenway. Nice for walking or running, lock the wheel allows for single hand steering. Unlocked, turns on a dime. Very easy to push. Drink holder for parent, good storage, drink tray for kids. Independent canopies that are separate from frame so you get 180 degree coverage from sun. Ours has speakers in canopy to attach to mp3, but they are pretty chincy.

We tried Chicco single and double, Baby Trend sit and stand, Joovi. I returned or sold them when we found our InStep. Friend has a BOB and I actually prefer ours. Especially at 1/3 the price.

    Hope it helps, good shopping.

I have a phil & ted's double. Got it brand new on an online sale for $350. My friend just bought one on craigslist for $125 complete with doubles set. Maybe try there?
