has anyone tried this and had success?? i know for sure i am a food addict and ive just started reading the book "the body knows." it's like, the book was written for me. i'm not very familiar with the 12 step program but its very intriguing. i'm so curious and im desperate for help before things get very out of control. anyone with insight or help - i would love to hear from you!! friend request or message me too if it's easier

I've done something similar but not in such a strict "program" Basically I no longer buy biscuits and cakes and chocolate.. except when I have to for other people or special occasions. I'm not strict with it though, I will still eat some of these things if I'm eating out and *really* want to eat them. I find most of the time, I'm actually not interested in them anymore.
However.. I may need to do something similar with ice cream soon...0 -
As a former bulimic, I completely cut out my trigger foods entirely and that has helped me immensely.0

I don't buy my trigger foods either. It's a HUGE help! IF I do get one for a rare treat, I will ONLY buy it if I can get it in a single serving package. Any more than that and it's a no-go.0
