My 2021 resolutions. I have one each for body, heart and mind.
Body: Workout 120 times in 2021 (only got 97 last year)
Heart: Have 12 date nights with my wife (in addition to Valentine's, Anniversary and her birthday)
Mind: Finish edits on second novel and submit to a publisher

I love playing tennis. I played recreational singles tennis for 14 years then transitioned to doubles play in the last 5 years as it's a lot easier to play. However with COVID 19 restrictions we have here, we are only allowed to play singles tennis now until they lift the restrictions.
So yesterday, I got a friend out to play. OMG! I almost died..well not literally. It was a great workout. I made myself chase down short balls and run to improve my cardio. Enjoyed every minute. Some of those muscles that I haven't used in awhile are talking to me this morning. LOL!

47 years old type 1 Diabetic. In my younger days I competed in powerlifting and strongman now my health is not so good so had to give up the extreme heavy lifting now I am focused more on health, dropping some pounds and living a long healthy life. I have been on a strict diet for many years but do to competing I kept my weight up to accel in my events. Now I need to drop some weight and body fat, in doing so I am also losing muscle mass and strength which I am not happy about but I cant have it all. Would love to join the group for inspiration and tips.

I understand you completely, @alstrongman1. While I never actually competed in powerlifting, that was my focus for the first ten years of my lifting "career", always looking to raise the 1RM. It took nearly tearing my arms out of my sockets benching too heavy and narrowly avoiding surgery to adjust my course. I still lift, but top out at sets of five rather than one, along with dedicating half my lifting days towards body recomp and joint health.

Helped my son move from my basement into his new second floor apartment. Between lugging furniture up multiple sets of stairs, I think that the day counts as a workout, even if it was done in spurts of ten minutes here, drive, ten minutes there, drive back, repeat.
Haven't checked in here for awhile. Good to see that you all are keeping active here. Off to the gym today for the first time in months. Pray for me! 😊

I stopped the NY Resolutions years ago.
My preference is inches lost as opposed to weight loss.
My trainer and I are working on programs to keep me from my usual boredom. My sessions are brutal and I ENJOY it. My ATG squats are improved...lol
