    Time to get back to basics:

    1. Drink 8 glasses of water daily

    2. No late night snacking

    3. Workout at least four days per week

    4. Sleep at least 8 hours per night

    Hey Kids, I've been away for quite awhile, but its good to see some of the long time regulars are still here. At one month shy of 64 years old, guess I'm part of the 40++ club, lol.

    After a few more weeks of recovery from my final 2021 race (on 9/26/21), I'll slowly resume modest swim, bike and run work. Starting in November, my primary focus will be on weight loss and enhancing my core strength over the winter. I'm planning to be faster in 2022. To do so, I'll need to be 15lbs lighter.

    Enjoying the first few weeks of recovery after 8 months of training and racing. Fun group bike ride yesterday with no pace, power or heart rate goals. We did a modest distance "out and back" route, with a challenging 1.1 mile climb to a local tower at the far end of the route.

    Just finished writing notes on what worked and what needs improvement from this season, so I can set goals for the winter. Tomorrow I'll meet with a personal trainer I've used for several years to come up with an off season training plan. First priority is to get leaner for next season.

    Almost to my BODY goal for the year, may even hit it by the end of next week! Going on a date with my wife tonight, have one scheduled for Halloween, and usually get one per month, so should reach the HEART goal by year's end. Now I just need to get hoofing on my MIND goal and do those edits!!!

    Like the tracking format you use. Simple and effective when the numbers are staring right at you!

    First day back in the gym for strength work in over two years. Felt good to get back to working with my trainer.
