Loose skin question for those who have lost lots already...

Hi, I'm just starting out and I WILL do this but I have a nagging voice in my mind every time I look in the mirror about how my lower stomach will look if I did get down to my goal weight... I have a big overhang and my arms sag down already with fat so I know I will have loose skin and I'm going to follow all the advice to try and avoid a lot of this by drinking water, ex foliating, moisturise, do toning exercise and loose weight slowly.

My question is.. have any of you who have already lost lots of weight and had loose skin afterwards, did you manage to loose the skin by continuing with exercise or did it go away over time? Obviously some people might have picked surgery which is ok for them but i', not interested in surgery and don't want a quick easy fix.

ta!

If you start working out now, you can tighten as you go. I've lost 87lbs and mine is getting tighter every day. It's no where near THERE yet but it's getting closer every day.

:flowerforyou: You will never have a 'Six-Pack' but for me, the loose skin is not that big a deal. I did all the things that you mentioned, so I guess that may be why it isn't too much of an issue for me.

Thanks ladies, I am prepared for the loose skin to come in but I hope its just a little pouch and not a massive xl carrier bag You both look amazing in your bf and after pics!! Well done :-)

Each person will respond differently and alot will have to do with how much weight you have to lose, how long you have yo yo and stretched your skin out, Your age, etc, etc..... I was homebound and could barely walk 30 months ago and now even with very bad knee's, I can go workout and am getting my life back. Do I have loose skin?? (You better believe and alot of it, surgeon said upwards of 30+ lbs. to be removed.) Some of it tighten up (my arms, my neck, chest) but my inner thighs and core are awful but again you lose weight on my scale and there isn't much of a chance of not having excess skin. But I would not trade it to go back to where I was, I'll take the loose skin with my very much improving health any day..... Good luck on your journey....
