I'm going to a Red Elephant (pizza and pasta place) tonight. I looked on their web site and googled as many ways as I can think, and I can't find the nutrition info.

Care to help me estimate calories? Or if you know of the calories in something similar at another restaurant, that would be helpful.

Here's what their menu says:

Blackened Chicken Pasta
Blackened chicken breast and penne pasta in a light tomato cream sauce, topped with parmesan cheese and fresh basil

Also, I probably won't eat more than 1/2.

I would just look that up in the database and see what you find. It may not be exact, but will be close enough.

The comparables are Dave and Buster's, Uno Grill, and Hard Rock Cafe. Not really sure which would be most accurate. I guess getting close will be good enough, though?

Anything with "cream sauce" is probably going to be bad... try and get it with just plain tomatoe sauce and no extra cheese... that might help gl! :)

I'm burning major calories tonight. This is my reward.

She didn't ask how to make it lighter. Some of us like to enjoy a tasty, high-fat, high-calorie restaurant meal every once in a while.

And, yes, "close" is good enough as long as it's only one meal every once in a while. It's probably within a few calories if it's not exact.

I would also try to end the day with a few extra calories just in case.
