    morning.....
    bbl to post a pep talk....been thinking about it for myself this morning. it's a busy morning again here. DH has another dentist appt at 8. getting new dentures and needs someone there to make sure they look good. that's what he said they said. his old work truck is being picked up between 8-10. hoping son gets off work early today, so he can go get his keys to new place and start moving out this week on days he doesn't work late. other wise can't until his next day off which isn't until thurs. NEXT week.
    need to get going.

    men!!!! get up early down some coffee, his appt isn't until TOMORROW!!! :noway: can't read the appt card.....

    i was doing some thinking this morning and thought i would share, maybe it will turn someones struggle around...."food" for thought....

    excuses. i know that the scale will be up tomorrow at least 2#s if not more. i started thinking of my week and they were all excuses.
    1) didn't eat right because i was to busy, not feeling well, etc........ just an excuse. no one forced me to eat this or that. i was the one who put my hand/fork/spoon to mouth. there was no reason why i couldn't have planed ahead. there was no reason why i couldn't have choosen better. there was no reason why i could have done better. there are healthy choices in my house, for quick meals. there are healthy choices at fast food. cut cals by not eating the bun. order grilled chicken, no fries. it can all be done. I just didn't want to do it. to make the better choices.
    2) didn't exercise everyday because i didn't want ppl to see me with a swollen face, didn't feel well, etc......just an excuse. no one held me down from not walking the up and down the street outside my house. didn't have to walk fast, just walk. no one said i couldn't drive to a park and walk. no one was watching tv so i couldn't use one of the many dvds, wii, exercise on demand. no one is at the 24 hr gym so no one would have seen me anyway. i could have tied my shoes, i can drive by myself. i just chose not to do these things.
    so with the scale being up is caused by me. not by not working the plan/site. i have to be honest with myself. they are just excuses. i know for me i must exercise to lose weight. i must eat the correct foods to lose weight. the empty calories don't do anything for your body.

    ok, done. think i might post this in general too. hope it helps someone here.

    I am eating 1400 cals today! YAY for staying in my calorie bracket... finally!

    I have done a total of 5 miles running AND lifted weights for 30 mins!

    Now I'm off to study!

    Just checking in.... Is tomorrow weigh in day or is it over? lol?:noway:

    Mom, good post. It's true, we get kinda lazy. I know I have been. Plus, I think I have been stress eating which isn't good either. Anyway's gotta get back on track.

    But on a good note, I have been maintaining, which I've never been able to do.

    Well, gotta go.

    Hello ladies. Quick post. Not feeling so hot today. Nausea, headache, sore, in pain. I guess it is not uncommon to have hangover type symtoms as your body is getting rid of the remaining anesthesia in its body. It should be better tomorrow or the next day. I sure hope so. I dont do nausea well at all. That might be why I dont drink alcohol!

    Hope everyone is doing fine! I will look for a new post tomorrow.

    Yay I'm ending at a minus 2 which is great b/c I put on some weight on my cruise!
