Top 3 Mommy Weight Gain Traps

My friend and I were talking tonight and we talked about ways we, as moms, accidentally sabotage our weight loss efforts. We both fought these top 3 traps:

Oh look, she didn’t finish her PB&J… I hate to waste it… It’s only 3 bites
(3 bites here, and 3 bites there could be a pound every week)

If they sit down for a snack, so do I (4 for poo-kie, one for mommy)
(if each cracker is 10 calories, and you eat 10 each day, you’ll gain 10 pounds this year)

Naptime! It’s finally time to rest, and I’m gonna reward myself!
(with the worst stuff b/c they’re finally not watching me…and, oops, I forgot that it might as well be called "pudding butt" because that's exactly where it ends up)

And a bonus…I never had this problem but she REALLY struggled with this:
Fix dinner for kids, eat with them… then fix dinner for hubby, and eat with him.


What mommy weight-gain traps have you overcome, and how??
