I wrote a detective series about Detective Copius Carling, a degenerate alcoholic who repeatedly tries to commit suicide (because he lost his job due to a kidnapping case in the past going wrong becuse he got emotional involved) but he keeps getting called back to solve difficult crimes because although he's a mess he's the best detective in the world! I wrote about 3 episodes of this series and then just kinda stopped..

And I wrote a series of comic strips for my friend when she was in hospital called "The Adventures of Mr Stick", all of which ended up with Mr Stick being killed in the end, for example in "Mr Stick and the Ungrateful Hobo", he got shot by the hobo for only giving him 50 pence, in "Mr Stick Falls in Love" Mr Stick gets beaten to death by Larry Log because Mr Stick was trying to come on to Tina Twig (Larry's girlfriend) and in "Mr Stick Plays Hide and Seek" he climbs in to a bin to hide, nobody can find him and they forget about him, so he waits in there for hours and gets emptied in to the truck when the bin men came the next morning and got crushed.

I enjoyed writing all of these.. Maybe I should do some more.. They are simple and silly but I love them 8D

  • Yes, make more comics! Comics forever! :-D

I'm a cartoonist. You can read my short stories here: http://www.friedwontons.com

I'm also working on my very first graphic novel. It's a prehistoric fiction about a teenage boy named Hodei. He has a great talent for art which begins as his secret and then later becomes his salvation. The story follows his struggles to find his place in the cold and often bitter Ice Age world he lives in. I haven't actually started drawing pages yet, but you can see sketches and ramblings here: http://www.lore-keeper.com

I'd love to, but I suck at the story bit! How do you come up with a decent story?

I love to write. I think my brother is far more talented though. He's done a comic books called The Agents. I think it's fabulous!

I'm an artist and a writer!

I have been writing since I was five and drawing since probably the same time. I think I got ok at drawing. I discovered anime and my style tends to lean towards that style. I got accepted into SCAD, but couldn't come up with the money to come up with the tuition. So sad!

But I suck at comics. I can't draw a comic at all! My art is just not that dynamic.

However, I love writing fiction! It is my ultimate goal to be a published author one day. I am currently working on a science fiction series. It's so much fun to write, but I have to redo the whole thing because I got carried away and wrote myself into a corner because I didn't outline/plan as well as I should have. (Grrrr!)
