MyFitnessPal should sponsor a couple of events in metropolitan cites across the country. They could charge a nominal fee for attendance, something in the order of $25.00. Vendors from the nutrition, fitness, vitamins/supplements industries could be present to "show off their wares" to attendees.

It could be fun and give all of us a chance to meet up with and meet new pals.

What do you think MyFitnessPal devs?

I like the idea, but I think it'd be more fun to just have it be a relaxed, drink and meet-and-greet type thing. :drinker:

The idea above sounds more like a work function, where it would be more about the vendors, and less about meeting people and getting to know them in person.... Just my opinion...

$25.00 I'm thinking would cover the cost of the venue as well as food during the event. $25.00 per couple and $10.00 for individual would be ideal. If marketed well and promoted right it could yield hundreds of people depending on the size of the city.

I dig this idea... But if there are Vendor Booths, the charge to the vendors should be what subsidizes the event, perhaps with a smaller, say $10 entrance fee that includes your healthy little boxed lunch :)

    And TOTALLY homemade fudge, BRY!!!
