Well, summer is upon us, and for someone like me who's from the midwest US, that means that so many fruits are coming into season. And I love love LOVE fruit. SO much.

I was just wondering what fruits were lowest in calories, weight wise. I've done some research for myself, but most of the results have given me calorie content per volume, which I don't think is a very accurate way of doing it. Does anyone have a list of low calorie fruits per weight?

Berries, melons, peaches in that order, lowest sugar. Usually tropical fruits like bananas, mangos, pineapple, figs high in sugar, with dried fruits topping as highest. Usually high sugar = high calories.

Here is a pretty cool site that list vitamins and minerals along with the calories. Berries are the lowest even low carbers can eat them.
