Is the OP's opinion any surprise? America was colonized by PURITANS.
I always find those that complain or are so staunchly opposed to certain views (ie 'showing skin") have enough skeletons in their own dirty closets to fill an entire cemetery.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion. It's America. HOWEVER, YOU do not have the right to PUSH YOUR opinion/view on someone else just because you "FEEL" it's the correct one.
If you're worried about accessing a weight loss site around your kid, how about spending time OFF THE COMPUTER and WITH YOUR KID...problem solved. YOU deal with YOUR kid - I don't expect anyone else to police/monitor my kids out of school, you shouldn't either.
Each person has a definition of "indecency" - showing ANY skin is indecent in some countries, and in others being topless is no big deal at the beach. Does this mean that a devout Muslim/Jew can say your pictures are indecent because they show your neck/arm?
You complain about attitude, but only if it's an attitude that you don't like. If you want, start your own group and I'm sure you'll find plenty of people with YOUR views that YOU can interact with...no one is holding a gun to your head telling you that you HAVE to be on the "chit-chat fun and games" board.
Most folks here with weight issues have spent YEARS being told to cover up, or feeling like they have to hide. Some of these losses are inspirational, and I view those pictures as such.

People who work hard do so not just to look good n clothes but to look good out of them as well. I am dreaming of the day my body is where I want so I can show off my hard work!!!! We are adults, there are reasons this site tries to make sure you are 18. I have never seen pure nudity on here which I would find in bad taste but everyone is just trying to show off their hard work and be appropriate about it. Really hard to get props on all your ab work in a sweater. We are here for support and the pat on the back for all of our work. If you do not want to see someones legs and abs and possibly a V I would suggest not looking through the success stories. Honestly though seeing what others have accomplished gives me the strength I need to work out!
I will now go work out and work hard so that in a few months I can offend someone!
