My "baby" got married in April, and then got the chickenpox a month later. (NOT from his wife either, must have been some kid he saw in a store!)
Enjoy em while they're young, cuz before you know it, they're all grown up! :sad:0 -
they say the longer it takes for you to get your first tooth, the better and healthier your teeth will be when you are older. I think its b/c the baby wont be sucking on a bottle or even paci quite as long with their teeth in. So maybe it will become a blessing for your daugther. But congrats on that milestone.....its hard when your kids grow up so fast. Mines about to turn 5 and I cannot believe it.
I want her to stay my baby FOREVER!0 -
Isn't it so exciting!!! My boy got his first two bottom teeth at 4 1/2 months old, his top left at 7 months, his top left k-9 barley after that...and now at 8 months he's working on the right side...lol. I never knew his teeth would come in sooo far apart in time and in that pattern. When he had just gotten his top one in we watched the new madagascar movie and after seeing the big hippo in the movie who only had one tooth on top we started calling Landon after him...our little MOTOMOTO!!!!0

gettinfitmama - my son had ALL of his teeth (except molars, of course) by the time he was 10 months!! Glad I didn't nurse
So, I can't sympathize with your 'pain' but have heard it gets rough there during the teething phase!!
kitn621 - we decided after she got her 1st tooth we'd toss the paci..errr this is going to be hard. :indifferent: my son refused a paci so we were lucky. 5 years old, she's a cutie!! She'll be starting kindegarten this year? Wow, I think once school starts I'll feel like my kids are already in college.0 -

thats good that you are going to toss the paci.....its hard to do when thats their comfort but we did the same for my daughter.
She wont be starting kindergarten b/c of her bday. she will do pre-k in a few weeks. Which is exciting but nothing too scary b/c its at the same daycare/school shes been at since she was 7months old.
When she goes to school next year is when I will lose it.
I hate it that shes so big now. I know what they mean now when adults tell you that your kids grow up sooo fast. Treasure every moment. :sad:0
