    Hi Marie, My Dad's wife has a laptop she's going to let me use while we're in MO. If that doesn't work for some reason I'll just keep track of what I eat. I think I know what the healthy choices are. I plan to stock the kitchen with fruits and veggies and offer to cook a few nights too. I know we'll be doing tons of walking. I also plan to take my resistance bands/cords and doing some strength training each evening before bed. I'll also do some squats & pushups. I hope you had a great day. Cindy :heart:

    Good morning :flowerforyou: I hope everyone is doing great ! I'm trying to ready my troops to go shopping . I need to pick up some things for our trip to MO. I can't belive we leave next week. I have so much to do before we go. What is everones plan for today ? I have the shopping. I'll come home and walk 3 miles . I am going to do the 30 day shred today too. Have a great day everyone.     Cindy have a great time shopping. and all your exercise.

    I have no plans for today except for the usally things. Like dishes , wash the bed sheets. and some more laundry. I have left overs for lunch but will have to cook tonight. I have a eggplant I want to cook.

    Was looking for Maggie cute little pictures for today. Maybe later?????????/

    Hi guys, I'm back from shopping and getting ready to go swimming. I wen't to Ross and got 2 pairs of jeans, 1 pair of black dress pants ,7 tops ,1 hooded sweatshirt and a pair of leather Doc Marten shoes for .......... drum roll please.........$95. 67. Wowwww........ I am so happy ! I love that store. I bouth everything in a size 18/20. Everything fits ! I started in March of this year in a size 28. I hope everyone has a great day !!! Cindy :heart:
  • I would LOVE to be a part of this group, please! I am a newbie only here 2 days but loving it!
    I just want to make sure that I don't slow down with the excitment like we all do so many times lol. I love tracking it this way and making myself be honest with my exercise and food.
    For me it's mostly food I have good exercise habits and plan on being more consistent with it now. Last September I actually completed a 1/2 marathon for the Arthritis Society in Maui Hawaii. And I am doing another one in Alaska June of 2010 and really want to be able to run this one instead of walking it.
    Can't wait to talk to some great inspiring people!

    Hi there Sheri ... welcome aboard ... you're going to love it here. Hi everyone else too ... Cindy ... new clothes ... new sizes ... it's the coolest ... WAY TO GO!!! It's a weird day for my eating today ... I had nothing this morning for breakfast ... unless you count the two glasses of Barium they make you drink before you have diagnostic testing. I was there all morning while they took pictures of how my insides work. Anyway ... once that was all done I headed straight to Subway and had a 6 inch sweet onion chicken teriyaki sub on a 9 grain bun and a bottle of water and and then I headed out to Timmy's for that coffee I missed this morning and strait on back to work. I hope you're all having a wonderful day ... talk to you again soon.
  • Ok this is going to be a dumb question but how do you get your ticker on your page and for some reason I fill out my profile and then nothing shows up. I will admit it computers are not always my friend but in the case of MFP I of course LOVE IT!
    Would really appreciate any help you have out there to help me get set up.:smile:

    Cindy, Oh boy new clothes for the trip next week. I love that part of Mo. So pretty. We been to Branson , Mo. a couple times too old to enjoy sight seeing there now. But love the town. Have a ball. Beautiful lake there.

  • Hi Caliecat and others thanks for the warm welcome. I am from Nova Scotia Canada. I am loving this site so far! Everyone is so positive I look forward to putting in my info every morning and it really helps me to stick to my day.
    I can tell I am taking it more serious this time because last night when my husband had 2 singel burgers from DQ sitting next to me on the couch I DIDN'T HAVE A BITE!!!!!!!!!!!!! :laugh: Now you have to know me to probably get just how big that actually is hahahaha I have a bit or a nibble of everything.
    Little baby steps, the weight didn't go on over night even though it seemed like it so it won't come off overnight!:flowerforyou: :

    Just wanted to say Hello tis morning and wish you all a happy long weekend! I am moving my daughter to university today so I am really nervous that I won't be able to add my foods until after I have eaten them. This is the first day since MFP that I couldn't plan the day before it started lol.
    But I will be thinking of all you guys and knowing that your behind me and kicking my *kitten* if I choose wrong!
