Naked Warrior - thoughts?

Ok, now I have the enter the kettlebell series by Pavel Tsatsouline and I enjoy his writing, even if his facts are a little screwy sometimes (kettlebells aren't used in the Russian military, they were developed in the Scottish highlands, etc). Ultimately though he has a humerous writing style that does teach pretty good form with kettlebells.

Now, I saw he has a book called The Naked Warrior which is based entirely on exercises that use bodyweight as resistance. Has anyone read this? Has anyone tried out any of the routines? I'm considering picking it up.

    Did you say naked?!

Sorry. That was really jr. high. :blushing: I haven't heard of it but whenever I real opinions on something, I go to Amazon and read the best and worst customer comments to get a feel for it.
  • When you said naked warrior my mind went into coed naked yoga which perked my interests so naturally I clicked on this thread and darn! It is not what I was hoping..

To answer your question, I have not read that book but I like the topic matter! What you described are calisthenics. I program calisthenics and I do a calisthenic workout at least a couple times per week. The possibilities are endless and it is just you and the floor. AMAZING stuff.
