I really am looking for shoe recommendationd for INSANITY. I wear Mizunos for running, but am not finding them to have enough cushion for the plyometrics. What do you find to be both cushioned and supportive?
Thank you!
Becky

I read on some of the Insanity message boards that people are really into the cross trainers by Under Armour. I'm still 2 weeks away from finishing this round of P90x, so I won't start Insanity until mid-Sept but have been checking out the boards to see what I'm in for. The topic of shoes is on tons of threads...maybe ask some of those folks as well?0

I had the same problem wearing running shoes for step aerobics. I bought a pair of Ryka cross trainers and they seem to work really well. I like them better than previous pairs of cross trainers I've owned because they are really light and not bulky, but still supportive. I think cross trainers are probably the way to go, but you will probably want to try on a few different brands to see which ones fit your feet best.0

That's what I have. I bought them for volleyball and walking shoes. I have plenty of running shoes which I think would be ok too, but cross trainers would be a better choice. I also have just a cheap pair of Dr. Scholl's gel inserts that I add to my shoes for extra cushioning. HTH!!0 -
