Joint lubrication exercise

Greetings everyone!
I'm a big fan of my kettlebell, I adore the thing. Plus there is something inherently bad@$$ about swinging around a big metal ball. Anyways, I recently had it reccomended to me that I explore joint lubrication exercises to get the most out of my workouts, specifically alongside the kettlebell.
Now, I know that joints work with synovial fluid for lubrication - but how do exercises create more fluid? What exactly are these exercises? How do I perform them? I've found some stuff about "rolling joints" but nothing concrete on how they work or what they are.
