Cardio and Strength Training

Ok, so I know that both of these are an important part of weight loss, I'm just curious if what i'm doing counts towards both or not.

I excercise 5 days a week, 3 days a week I go to curves, and 2 days a week I do turbo jam videos. (i'm hoping to get a treadmill or elliptical soon and add that 3 times a week as well)

I count both of them towards cardio, but would those things count towards strength training as well?
I was looking at spark people, some of the strength training excercises they have there i do at curves and during turbo, which is why i'm curious.

any help would be great!

Strength training requires resistance of some sort--either through weights (barbells, machines, hydraulics like at Curves, or even bodyweight like push ups). Cardiovascular activity requires your HR to be elevated to 60%-80% of your maximum heart rate for an extended period of time, generally 20+ minutes. Turbo Jam is cardiovascular, and Curves is resistance training.
