I'm overseeing the care of an Alzheimer's patient who informed me that she used to listen to Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Marilyn Monroe, "and other music like that".

I was thinking of putting together a CD or something for her but I'm kinda clueless. Does anyone know what songs and other performers were popular around that time?
