Does anyone know a good baked chicken wings recipe? And one that preferably involves boiling them? I've tryed to google a recipe but can't seem to find any accurate instructions, like how long you boil/bake them for and at what temperature.
Thanks!!!

I've done 'em a few times. I skin 'em, and marinade them in sauces. Usually do some BBQ for the gang and some hot buffalo stuff for me. Then I cover a sheet w/foil to keep the cleanup easy(er) and put a cooling rack on there, then place the wings on that.
350 for 45 minutes will cook just about anything... Just go 'til they're done. Good stuff.0 -
I put them on a baking sheet under the broiler (not the top tier but the next one down) and broil them for 10 min or so per side. I only put salt on them. Once they are done, I baste them with Franks Red Hot Sauce (0 calories I believe) and serve. You can also do them on a grill but it can get tricky because they sometimes fall through the grates. The reason I don't put sauce on before is because it causes the wings to burn. The Franks Red Hot is so flavorful you won't really notice they weren't marinated.
almost forgot- I put a piece of foil on the baking sheet and then a rack (like you would use for cooling cookies) with a little cooking spray on it. The chicken goes right on the rack. Makes clean up easy and any excess grease from the chicken falls through the rack.0 -
You want a boiling recipe then bake for crispiness?
1. I fill a quart pot with a water (you could use a large pot also if you're cooking a lot).
2. I drop the wings in frozen cook for 20-30 min on med-hi (dial about 3/4 of the way on).
4. Remove and add barbeque sauce (or whatever seasoning) then boil until most of the water is out.
5. You can take them out and put them in a pan and bake to get them crispy.
Or you can skip the second boil ( step 4) and just bake on 350-400 for 20 min.0 -
I swear by the Alton Brown buffalo wing recipe. But you do need to steam them, then refridgerate before baking.
I don't have the link, but if you google Alton Brown buffalo wings, it should come up0 -

Texas Pete hot sauce has a REALLY good recipe on the bottle.
Texas Pete Hot Wings
chicken wings
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine
1/3 cup Texas Pete hot sauce
Salt
Pepper
Clean chicken wings. Place on a wire rack in a bread pan; salt and pepper to taste on both sides. Bake at 375 degrees F for 1 hour (30 minutes on each side)
Melt butter or margarine. Add Texas Pete hot sauce to butter, mixing well. With a pastry brush, brush hot sauce mixture on both sides of chicken.0 -
