Hot Beverages

So I'm just curious... Pretty much every day after I eat lunch, I have a big glass of hot green tea. I'm just wondering if anyone knows of any benefit (or not) to drinking hot beverages after eating a meal.
Thanks!
Thanks!

As far as I know, green tea helps with the digestion of food so it would be great after lunch.0

I'd like to add another question to that......does it count as a water?? No cals, no caffeine.0

Green tea does have some caffeine. There are many debates as to whether or not it "counts" as water. I drink PLENTY of water every day so I don't even track my intake. I say just drink more regular water if you want to try to count tea as water. :flowerforyou:0 -
Hot drinks make me feel full when I have them after eating. I'm sure is just psychological with me!
PS - have you tried red teas (rooibos)? Some of the blends are wonderful and there's no caffeine!0
