A little personal and just out of curiosity, do any of the men here who lift heavy and often (3 - 6 times a week) find that their libido has been negatively impacted in any way? (i.e. Do you find yourself wanting sex less often? Are you wanting sex with your partner less often? Less sexual desire in general?)

Not a man (obviously) but lifting should increase testosterone production, which in turn should increase all of the above.
Unless steroids are used in conjunction with the lifting, in which case, the above could happen.0 -

I wasn't going to answer this due to ego, but yes I have had a huge drop in libido that has coincided with starting heavy lifting, but I feel that it may a coincidence as I also have a huge amount of work stress at the moment due to being laid off soon. I was under the impression that lifting increased Testosterone and should have the opposite effect.0 -
I did notice a diminished libido back when I use to lift heavy 6 days/week (during university) as well as play basketball another 3 days; this worked out to be 60 min to 2 hours/day. I think it might have to do with over training without allowing the body to recover. I am sure lifting 3-4 days and only 1-2 days cardio would have increased it, but I had no energy to do anything else due to the excessive gym time.0

Nope. In fact, the opposite.0

yeah depends on the overall workload, other non-gym related stress etc.
If you are in a calorie deficit plus working a high stress job once you add lifting 3-4 times a week on top of that you can burn out if you are not careful.
Never affected me I don't think......but them i'm single lol. Yes lifting does increase test slightly.... but you are talking a very small amount not enough to make significant difference.0 -
It should have the opposite effect. It sounds like too much training/ not enough recovery time for your guy.0

The opposite. Very, very strongly.
I feel like I'm a teenager again in that respect.0 -
The opposite. I don't know if it is the weight loss, the workout or all of the above, my libido is back where it was when I was 24.0

Not really, any issue with that would be more mental stress-related than the physical. Although I can say that I've overtrained myself once before and that did affect it, but the source of my overtraining was just as much diet as the lifting itself. I'm very cognizant of what I eat now because of that.0
