Too much Protein and Fiber??

Since I've been eating healthier, I've been buying and eating foods with more fiber. Fiber keeps you full, and (I thought) was good for you. I am also fairly active, as I walk everywhere I go (to and from school, to the store, to work, etc. etc.) and am physically active in some of my classes. Because of this, I have been eating more protein - which I heard is supposed to supply you with the energy you need to exercise and be active.

However, here's the problem. According to the counts in my food diary, I'm going over on the recommended amounts of Fiber and Protein. Is it really unhealthy to go over in these fields? Why? And if so, how can I continue to eat healthy, while not going over?

Thanks!!

I always go over my protein and fiber intake!!!! I think it's better to go over on those then on fat and sugar!!! protein and fiber is good for you! It will keep your body moving along so i say go a head and keep doing what your doing

First, I think the fiber and protein default settings on this site are too low to start with. I set mine higher.

Second, think of protein and fiber as a floor -- you want to get *at least* that much.
