For all the meat eaters...read up.

I hope no one was expecting an anti-meat agenda reading the title of the post, gosh, this will be far from it. Omnivores, carnivores, rejoice and go have a filet.
I know there has been some banter back and forth about including meat in one's diet and the perceived health of doing so. Most that read my posts are aware I'm FOR the inclusion of meat in one's diet, particularly grass-fed meats or wild fishes, when available. A common objection to eating meat typically begins with "But our digestive tracts aren't designed for meat..." or "We did not evolve eating meat..." or "But look at China, they're healthy with vegetarian diets..." Even in the time I spent as a fervent vegetarian, I still did not believe any of the latter. My fervent support of Darwin's Theory of Evolution far outweighed my dietary objections to the consumption of animals. We did not evolve on a meat-free diet, rather, the diet of meat supported our evolution and brain development.
These two posts, part 1 and 2, sum this up quite eloquently and more importantly, back it up with far more than spotty research, but in-depth scientific evidence:

Awesome, I love meat...a lot.
And I've been to China. They eat a lot of pork...and it's deep fried.0
