Domestic Engineer...aka "stay at home Mom". Three kids 14, 11 and 10. I'm pretty active either going to the gym with my 14 year old, or my boys love to ride bikes. We did a 45 minute ride yesterday and can't wait to do it again today. Before I was a Mom I was a paralegal for US Attorney office on East Coast.

I am officially retired but I work 2 days a week as a bookkeeper for the company I retired from.
  • Product development scientist, nutritional supplements. Under activity level I say "lightly active" because I get to work in the lab a couple days a week, but usually I'm on my *kitten* most of the time :(

Well hello Busy Lady. I'd factor in an hour or so of walking at 3.5 mph or something like that. a baby gate on those stairs? Save you running up and down. I retired at 46 (a bit of good luck and a smile from Karma I guess). so mostly I'm a slacker/beach bum/hiking fool.

I am a Realtor in PA. Most of the time I am sitting. But I take kickboxing classes during the week to make up for my sedentary job.

I'm a freelance writer, so a very sedentary job. I found as my work load got bigger so did my backside. Hence why I started thinking about doing something about it.

I'm so very glad to have found MFP. I'm finding the whole thing so motivating. I've stepped away from writing to do 70 minutes of exercise today, which is pretty good for me :)
