I'm hungry...

Food Options (without going out); Wife and I are trying to do better at not eating lunch out.

Canned Goods (all no sodium added): Pinto beans, carrots, mixed veggies (peas, carrots, green beans, potatoes), french style green beans, Peas

Peanut Butter (crunchy)

Muscle Milk, chocolate flavor, Chocolate Casein Powder, Strawberry Whey

Canned Tuna (no Na added)

Considering my options, I'm thinking a McDonalds grilled chicken sandwich with an extra chicken patty and no mayo (the "eff what I got" option)or the peas and tuna are my main options. If my PB wasn't crunchy a shake with the chocolate casein would be too bad, but I've already had too many servings of powder today.

Ah, crummy food choices

Go to the grocery store. You can get lean turkey lunch meat, lettuce, spinach, tomato and onion and make you a very delightful sandwich. Some fruit for dessert.

I'm hungry too, and I don't like your choices. Dude, I'd hit the grocery store after I ate my peas and tuna. No cheese???

If those were my only options...I would have pintos and peas, a plain tbsp of peanut butter, plain tuna and a protein shake! :)

    That's my choice.

You definitely need some more fresh fruit and veggies. Right now is the best time for fresh veggies. Find out if there is a farmer's market close to where you live. What about eggs? Maybe add some eggs into your diet.

I would make a veggie soup with all the canned stuff, and have a little tuna sammy on the side.

You can't take your break and leave for a few to get something else?

Well, since this is the case, I'd go with the mixed veggies and tuna with some PB as dessert.

Tuna and pinto beans it is (mistaken about the peas, as that is what I really wanted:sad: )

If the tuna is chunks rather than flakes, I'd warm up a spoonfull of the peanut butter in the microwave, make it runny, (add soy sauce if you have it, or can scrounge) it add the pinto beans and pour over the tuna, satay style.

Had to go run an errand for work, and gave in and did both...

LOL at McDonalds advertising that the bun on the grilled chicken sandwich has 8g of whole grain...I feel like giving them a participation medal.

At least they don't butcher a grilled chicken too badly.
