I'm noticing that a few of my faves are not as low-fat as I thought.
Tomato sandwich--what I thought was a low-fat sandwich is actually about one-fourth of my daily calories (480 calories on a 2000-calorie budget). :noway:
Homemade potato salad--150 calories :noway:
Has anyone else ever had that kind of sticker-shock?

Based on your two items I'm guessing you thought mayo was a bit lower-cal than it is eh? It's 90% oil and oil is about 100% fat(s).0

I am trying to figure out how a tomato sandwich is 480 calories... What do you put on that thing? Even with the high calorie bread I use I can only get to like 255ish based off of how I make them. 2 slices of bread, a serving of olive oil mayo, tomatoes, salt, and pepper.0
