Hey guys I would like to know what is a good scale to get. I bought the Healthometer Scale from Walmart a few months ago. This scale is very irritating and gives inaccurate readings. It's time for a new one....Please Help

I picked up a Taylor scale at Kmart for $20. It is just a basic digital scale with nothing fancy. When I was looking for scales, it seemed that the Taylor brand always had the best reviews.0

Just out of curiosity how do you know it's inaccurate?0

I got mine years and years ago at Costco. I don't know if they would have it anymore, but it has worked very well for me.. It's a Taylor brand one.0

@Jennieb37 I went to my wellness screening on the Oct. 5th and my weight was 210.50. I went home to compare the results with my scale and it had 214.60. This was not the first time it gave me a reading like that. Then I decided to do some research and a lot of others had the same problem, so I realized it wasn't just me.0

I bought a Taylor Glass Electronic at Kohls on sale and used a 30% coupon too, came to about $20 or so. Love the fact that it gets it down to the ounces, and seems pretty reliable. the old dial one changed significantly depending on where I placed it in the bathroom, This one is consistent no matter where I put it, and how many times I step on it :grumble:0

If you get off and on the scale 3 times in a row does it give you the same number? I had a weight watchers digital scale that would give me a different number every single time. That scale was psycho.0

I bought a Withings WiFi scale. It is not cheap but as well as weight it measures % of body fat and calculates BMI then uploads to a portal where you can track your measurements. It can also send your weight to MFP directly.
If you can find the money it is a great tool0 -

Not sure if I mis typed, but it will give me a number like: 241.4, and I guess I was counting the .4 as ounces??0 -

0.4 lbs, which is 6.4 ounces0 -
I too was frustrated with my scale. Hubby researched scales for me through Consumer Reports. Of all the scales CR reviewed, this scale gained the best reviews. I ordered it and it should arrive on Friday.

My scale is the same way. It gives you so many results. That's why it's time for a new one.0 -
