Third time's a charm...

Hi everyone!
My name's Laura and I'm twenty-four. This is my third time signing up for MFP but I feel like I failed previously by not adding people and getting involved on the forums. I read the success stories section nearly everyday but I've never taken the time to leave a message which is something I really want to change.
I've been going to the gym and eating right for a week now but when it came to my weekly weigh-in I'd lost 2lbs... now this is great for a lot of people but I'm used to losing a lot more than this on previous diets and that's without working out at all. So I decided counting my calories was too important to not do. Something I decided to change this time around because I'm very much in the mindset that these changes are for life and not just until I get to my GW.
So, my stats... I'm 5' 8", weigh 234lbs and my goal is to lose 96lbs (although I bumped this up to 100 just to have the nice round number
) I'm looking for inspiration but also people who I can support and who can hopefully support me back. Feel free to add me and hopefully I'll see you around, this time.
