HELP please! Energy needed... :)

I'm looking for some recommendations --

I'd say I'm at an intermediate (maybe higher) fitness level. Currently I do Les Mills Body Combat classes religiously 3x/wk. Power walk some other days. Those classes are intense. They are martial arts inspired fitness classes & I always burn anywhere from 500-600 calories or more so it really is a good workout and I love it!!! Tomorrow I may actually take that and the one scheduled before it too - Body Pump, weights & toning.

But I'm looking to change up my routine a bit and add some variety so I've joined 2 local meetup groups based on the same program, just in different locations, one closer to home, the other closer to work depending how my week/schedule goes.

This is the description of the group -
We are a group of Insane Fitness Coaches (P90X, Insanity, & Asylum Graduates) committed to providing the absolute most HARDCORE Training Workouts to the general public for FREE! We challenge you to get in the best shape of your life! Welcoming all fitness levels from the beginner to elite athletes! From the makers of P90X and Insanity.

I am soooo excited to try something new and challenging. My question is, what foods do you recommend to have energy to make it through the workout. I am on a high protein/low carb diet now but workout days I certainly eat more of both, usually fruit (natural carbs) before a workout, or a smartbagel toasted with peanut butter (yum). If I'm going to give this my best shot, I want to kick butt and not struggle cause I feel I'm weak from lack of energy (not lack of strength).

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated ... thank you!
