No before picture. This is what heavy squats (250 pounds), deadlifts (275 pounds) and walking lunges (50 pound dumbbells) can do:

    LOVE IT
    How did you make that?

Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees, then 30 minutes or until firm, let stand for 10 minutes then serve hot.
  • Okay, here's what happened to my backside in 4 months of NROL4W. Didn't really start out too flat, but it has gotten tighter and didn't disappear when my waist and legs got trimmer, which is nice!

You can see the definition here too, great job!:flowerforyou:

This was about 1 1/2 mos ago. I haven't taken a more recent one, but I have dropped another size since then.

I had a big butt before losing... I wish I started lifting sooner, so I could have avoided the droopy *kitten* phase. But my story has a happy ending.

I had a flat butt until I joined kickboxing (I was already doing it by the time I took my "before" picture so that's not a good reference point. I just didn't take pics of my flat butt because it looked bad in pictures!) Anyway... The workout consisted of movements like:
    - squats
    - jumping squats
    - lunges
    - jumping lunges
    - side lunges
    - jogging
    - kettlebell swings
    - sidekicks (While partner holds a target)
    - push kicks (While partner holds a target)
    - knees (While partner holds a target)
    - front kicks (While partner holds a target)
    - planks
    - hand walk
    - lots of cardio (Burpees, sprints, vigorous push-ups/sit-ups, jumping jacks, etc).

Of course there were upperbody movements but I figure they did not contribute much to butt-shaping.

Do you do them light or to failure? Do you know what your one rep max is? If you've never reached the point where you are on rep 6 or less and you simply can't do another one then you need to increase your weights. It's not just going through the motions, it's pushing yourself to your limit.

Might I also add make sure you are going ALL the way down, as in knees bent to an angle less than 90 degrees. This really makes a difference in the muscles worked!
