Awhhh that sounds fun! I love making Christmas cookies :)

I'm going to see a speaker tonight. Then I'm baking this weekend, too. I found a bunch of recipes that I wanna try and I'm going to use my family as guinea pigs. I finished my semester on Tuesday, so I have WAY too much free time. And will have too much for the next 2.5 weeks D:

Have fun makin' cookies! Save some for me.

My very, very camp friend's annual Christmas party tomorrow night - usually extremely messy! Think '12 gays of Christmas' or 'Miracle on 42nd Street' (a YouTube treat and a half), then multiply the camp by a factor of about 20 to get the general idea. Unlikely to be a straight man in sight, though, and judging by last year, there will be at least two lesbians who will try to compensate for that (shame it's just not my thing - no interest at all, I'm afraid  ).

Then on Sunday, provided I don't have alcohol poisoning (always a risk with the friend above:laugh:), I'm making an early Christmas dinner for my 92-year-old landlady. Her rather joyless daughter is begrudgingly coming to spend Christmas with her, but probably won't be willing to do the thing properly, so we're celebrating in advance. (This makes me really sad, actually. It may well be her last Christmas, and her family really couldn't care less, it seems, so it's nice to be able to do something special for her.).

Hoping to make it to either 'Great Expectations' or 'The Hobbit' at some point (and I do still want to see 'The Silver Lignings Playbook' at some point), but I can't quite work out when.... Maybe Sunday night!

I'll be leaving work early to get my hair and nails done today. Then on to our Christmas party.

Tomorrow I'll be wrapping Christmas presents before picking the kids up from their sleepovers, then we'll head to the movies.

Sunday, we'll go to church and I'm planning to sneak out during second sevice so I can put the presents under the tree. The kids and I will be celebrating our Christmas that afternoon. :) So, that will be a very nice day.

Celebrating my birthday a couple weeks early as I will be traveling during mine. Doing dinner and the comedy club tonight with some friends and my bro.

Then tomorrow night plan to go check out some roller derby action. Never been before, but told it is fun to watch.

Sunday will probably just be laying low and getting things ready for my trip.

Working today, but I had the last three days off. I've also got Saturday and Sunday off this weekend. We are celebrating christmas with one side of my extended family Saturday and judging by a forecast of decent weather, Sunday will be a good day to catch up on ME time. Looking forward to this weekend

The man is taking me away for the evening Saturday night. Not far, just about 1.5 hours drive south of Columbus. I told him awhile ago that for my birthday I wanted him to pick a place, book a room and for us to go somewhere and get away from home for a bit. A bar in Athens is having a big beer release so we'll spend a good amount of time trying new things and eating - no MFP this weekend! I'm hoping to burn it off in other ways...LOL  So we'll drop the dog off at the boarding house, and go on an unplanned adventure for the weekend. We'll get back in time for the Steeler game against the Cowboys Sunday afternoon. I hope it's a better show than last weeks game...

Going to the gym after work today then heading to the mall again for some Christmas shopping. Might go to a movie tonight as well.

Saturday my brother is having a Christmas party, taking my new beau to meet my brother and sister-in-law.

Sunday is my birthday so going out for lunch with friends then dinner with my mother. Going to try to eat as good as I can, ha ha.

No set plans yet except that I'll be spending time with the boyfriend. We have to make it a good weekend since it's our last one together before we part for the holidays to fly back home to spend time with our families.

I think we will be working out for the second time together tomorrow at least and maybe doing some necessary Christmas shopping that neither of us wants to do. My philosophy is that being in a relationship means you have someone to share in the jobs you don't like to do and that makes it more enjoyable. I don't think I've met anyone yet that agrees with that though. Hopefully, we'll do something fun too, like dinner and a movie.

Tonight is my company Christmas party so I'm leaving work early to get my hair cut and colored to look my best.

Saturday is going to be busy, I have my trainer in the morning, then I go for my laser treatment (hair removal) then I pick up my Mom at the airport at 7pm.

Sunday we're going to go get a Christmas tree and decorate my apartment. It's going to be so much fun!

Me too! Minus the hair part. I am meh about it. I don't mind the party with food and alcohol. It's a shirt & tie part. I hate dressing up in general. I only own 1 tie and dress shirt from nearly 3 years ago, so of course it's too big now. I procastinated and waited until last week to go shopping for a new one. Big mistake with the holiday shopping season in full swing. Almost wasn't able to find my size. Aside from that, work, gym, and the Hobbit movie.

I'm still currently sick, but sorry Steeler fans...MY Cowboys are winning that game!! I grit my teeth while saying that because we aren't the best home team, but playoffs are on the line (sorta of a fat chance more like) so maybe it will be a good home game for once. Good rival match up for sure! :)

I plan to head out and get a few more Christmas presents, a filing cabinet for myself and then eventually wrap or bag everything.

I do want to make some things for the holidays, but I can't do that with a cold. I don't want to make the rest of the world sick!

It's a big game for both teams since we have the same record. May the best team win! I'll be sure to come back to this thread Monday.

My driver's license expired yesterday so I spent a little time getting it renewed this afternoon. I have a Christmas dinner with my running group tonight. Other than that I think I am going to gargle broken glass. That's about the only thing I haven't tried to get rid of this sore throat.

I can take you all and MY Cowboys can take on your Steelers!! HOW BOUT DEM COWBOYS!?

That game could have gone either way today. I can't believe you guys didn't have ONE penalty! Gotta say I am loving Brandon Carr these last two weeks. He's lost two teammates and a friend -- it's gotta be pure emotion and adrenaline!

Best game of the day by far!! We really needed that win and now we are in a 3 way tie for first place. What a season! The realistic side of me says don't get your hopes up! The part of me that almost leaped out of my chair tonight loves it!

On a side note -- I wasn't too happy with Josh Brent on the sidelines. I thought it was in poor taste on his part and on the teams part. I understand Jerry Brown's mother forgave him and wants the team to support him. It was his best friend that he killed and he's on the sidelines like nothing happened. It's one thing for players who got hurt on the field and are on the sidelines, it's another when you are charged with a crime and someone's death and on the sidelines. I am all for the Cowboys in supporting Josh Brent, however I think it should be done in a more private manner. Now, I have read he or some of the players want him to travel with the team too. None of this should be happening. He should be watching from home.

Alright, fine. You win. And the Cowboys deserved to win. The Steelers didn't actually show up until the end of the 1st half and they pretty much gave up that TD in overtime. Bravo - you win! LOL

Edit: I thought Josh Brent being there was a bit odd myself - and after realizing he was out of jail on a $500,000 bond I thought for that much he should have been forced to stay there. I don't care who you are, if you get in the car drunk and drive and kill someone, you deserve to rot in jail, period. Especially someone with that much money - hire a driver. I thought the same thing of Stallsworth when he ran over that pedestrian years ago.
