Snack of pina colada sorbet with a coconut macaroon. Sorbet was made with tinned unsweetened pineapple with a few tablespoons of Splenda, macaroons were made with half the sugar replaced with Spelnda. The sorbet freezes more solid when you replace sugar with an artificial sweetener, so needed to be loosened by running it through the food processor after freezing.

Waited all day to eat so I could save up my calories for this!

Homemade Brioche Burger Bun, Griddled Aubergine slices, Griddled Halloumi, Tomato, Rocket, Chipotle Skyr and Baked Sweet Potato Fries.

    Well worth the wait! 😊😊

What's in your sausages (seasoning wise) and what sort of casing did you use?

These? Salt, pepper, garlic and marjoram. Casings are always from pork.

Awesome, thanks. I might do something similar but subbing in thyme and maybe rosemary (both are growing very abundantly in my garden). I also need to try out lamb casings. I don't eat pork anymore (or rather, I try very hard to avoid it and am typically successful) and I'm up to the challenge of fragile lamb casings....and now I know what I'm doing with my afternoon (assuming the store closest to me has lamb casings)

One of my very favourite dinners at this time of year. Figs, soft goats cheese, thyme and a drizzle of honey and black pepper. Served on a herby salad bed with lots of red onion. ❤️

Mustardy Mushroom Stroganoff & Green Rice. Real soothing comfort food, it’s been one of those days. On the plus side I have room in my calories for a large glass of red, later! 😊

Salty & Smoky Oumph (Swedish soy based protein) and vegetable kebabs, salad greens and a very poor attempt at sweet potato cross cut oven baked fries! Oh and a puddle of Mango Habanero Chilli Sauce.

Tasted good, looks less good. 😳
