Hi!
I just signed up for the app on my iphone and then discovered how awesome this website is! I am only 8 lbs from my goal - I have lost over 50 already but I am finding the maintence SO HARD. Hoping that this site will help me with the end (those last ones are always the hardest) and keep me motivated.

    Hiya!!

Nice to have another newbie on board!! This site is great and the iPhone app means you really don't forget anything and can list everything when your on the go. I'm in the same boat as you and only have the last half a stone to loose, but it's so hard, I've had to really work extra hard to loose anymore. This site has been great it has helped me keep track of foods and cals so I always know if I'm close to my limit. I think that's where I go wrong, when your busy it's so easy to forget what you've eaten and grab something naughty!!

This site and the iPhone app will help you I'm sure, it's been really great for me and this time I feel I'm close to actually achieving my goal. Once I loose the weight I'm going to keep using the site and the app for at least six months so my weight can stabilise at it's new lower position - Don't want to yo-yo it back on!!
I can't wait to be super slim again!!

I wish you all the best with your goal and any help or tips don't be scared to ask, this site is great for help and support and everyone speaks so much sense on here.
    I love this site

Wow...you have done really well. I have also just discovered this website and I think it's great. I normally always get annoyed with these kinds of websites cos they usually ask for loads of cash, but this is completely FREE and is really well produced.

I wish you luck with your last few pounds. I wish I could get motivated to lose the weight. It's a real drag! I have about 3 stone to lose and it's difficult when your stuck at work all day sitting in an office not really able to leave your desk. I am hoping this site gives me some inspiration....actually listening to you, I am already feeling inspired! Thank you

I pack a thermal bag with my healthy foods in the morning. I'm a teacher and only get about 20 minutes for lunch but I have all my healthy foods with me and I log them on here before I ever leave the house. I know if it's not in my bag I can't eat it. I also come home and exercise before I even sit down. After exercise, I eat and take a bath and just relax the rest of the night. Being busy is no excuse. You can do it if you set your mind to it.
As far as the last stretch of weight loss, you can break through the plateau by changing things up. Increase or change your exercise as well as your calorie consumption and it will start coming off again. For my last few pounds, I've put my settings on lose 1/2 a pound a week. I'm eating more calories and working out longer and harder and it's started coming off again. I'm now only 3 pounds from my goal and almost ready for maintenance. It's such a great feeling and you can do it.

Well done to you and great advise too!!

I've been really struggling to loose the last half a stone and what you said about stepping up excercise is so true.
I'm sticking with it though and now exercising more than ever, the key is not to give up even if you have a few weeks where you think there's no change, if you keep at it it has to come off!!

Good luck and well done to you all for trying, keep at it!! xx
