I decided to start weights recently & just want to maintain the muscle I have at very least. I still have 30-35lbs to lose. When I don't do cardio I still do strength train a little. Should I still eat at the same deficit? I usually eat 1,400 calories if I don't exercise, or 1,500, but usually 1,400 recently. I'm 5'4" 22 (almost 23) and I bounce 159 to low 160s lol depends on the day lately. ?! So, eat more, eat less, eat the same? What is a good calorie level for me in your opinion? I would say I'm light activity, but I exercise when I can because I have my kids all day (2 and 1 year old)

The kids by themselves have pushed you into the Lightly Active level, you adding strength training has pushed you higher yet. How far? Depends on how much you do.
Try this to see where you hit for activity since it sounds like on your feet for kids would be just like have a more active than desk job.

I have two kids and my fitbit says I burn around 2200 on the days that i'm not exercising (I'm 5'3" and 37).
I would say to eat more, probably even at least 1800.0
