Lose fat...gain muscle?!

So question... I weigh 130lbs and am semi happy weighing this. However, I would love to add muscle definition while loosing fat. I drink plenty of water per day (about 100 oz) and am planning on upping my protein per day. According to MFP, I eat too much sugar but most of it normally comes from fruits. I'd like to loose some more weight but in the long run I'm more focused on how I look rather then what I weigh.

So I guess my question is should I completely cut out cardio, although I love it, and focus more so on my p90x weight training disks? I normally eat 1600-1700 calories per day as well.
Stats : 24yrs old, 130lbs and 62 inches. I've already lost 15lbs!

Any advice would be helpful!

lift weights and create a calorie deficit however you like; diet alone or diet + cardio.
