It's OK, I didn't take it as being rude! I prob DO need to break the afternoon sweets habit! Good to know the cravings won't last forever! :)
They won't...I also had a late afternoon sugar craving/habit ...as I'm sure many people do. However, after getting away from it for a while, it definitely subsided (try drinking a big glass of water at that time every day...it does help).

    Good luck!

Try another snakc, such as low fat cottage cheese and an apple. I have that around 3 every day and it keeps me full until I get home at 6 for dinner.

  • Here's another one I want to try this week:

These delicious little no bake energy bites are the perfect healthy snack!

No Bake Energy Bites from Gimme Some Oven.com

    http://www.gimmesomeoven.com/no-bake-energy-bites/

    Ingredients

1 cup (dry) oatmeal (I used old-fashioned oats)
    2/3 cup toasted coconut flakes
    1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup ground flaxseed or wheat germ
    1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
1/3 cup honey or maple syrup
    1 Tbsp. chia seeds (optional)
    1 tsp. vanilla extract

    Method

Stir all ingredients together in a medium bowl until thoroughly mixed. Let chill in the refrigerator for half an hour. Once chilled, roll into balls of whatever size you would like. (Mine were about 1" in diameter.) Store in an airtight container and keep refrigerated for up to 1 week.

    Makes about 20-25 balls.

Another vote for the Fiber One 90 calorie brownies. I wouldn't exactly call them "healthy", but they're damn good and portion-controlled.
