Crossfit in a few days here in North NJ.....I have not done pull-ups or any shoulder related (except physical therapy since I tore my rotator cuff) exercise for the past 5 years. Any tips besides not giving up??....I have been working out.. lifting and doing some cardio (spinning).. for the past few month but decided I need to push the envelope...I will be doing this 2X a week.
Thanks

Wow. You went 6 whole minutes without a response.
I suggest taking it slow and making sure the coach/boss/whatever CF calls him knows about your shoulder issue.0 -
Make sure you're doing cable internal and external rotations.
Also try cuban presses as an addition to standard overhead presses. You engage the rotator in the initial lift to shoulder, then rotate it to press the bar overhead.
Lots of videos on BB.com and youtube.0
