Iv had great success with the scooby calculator so im sticking with that one for working out tdee. Im doing a Leslie Sansone 5 mile walk (65mins) 5 days a week, and the HASfit websites 30 day low impact challange (about 60 mins a week, mix of strength and cardio) Im using the mark of 3-5hrs moderate activity at the moment but I know my planned workout makes it 6hrs so should I move up to 5-6hrs strenuous activity? This monday is my first week of the new plan and I usually do 5hrs now and eat 1900cals a day and have been losing just over 1lb a week, I dont add my walking though which is 1-2hrs a week with a pushchair and baby in a carrier, should I add my walking with the kids too? Some days I get really hungry and need to eat an extra 200cals or so, last night was an example. I woke up so dizzy and weak and needed food, and was fine after a quick toasted sandwich. Iv done 5hrs 25mins this week and thats it til monday for me. I dont want to set my goal at too many calories but this week Iv had a few days where Iv needed more food so Im guessing that means I should have more? Either put my activity up or set my deficit to -15%? I use -20% now and am 5"5 and 155lbs, wanting to get to 130-140lbs. Any advice is welcome x

I am not familiar with the Leslie Sansone walking video but I would keep it at where you are because that doesn't ring "strenuous" to me. Neither does something with "low impact." Not that they aren't great workouts-- an amazing workout doesn't need to be "strenuous" it just needs to be moving! However, it might be in the wrong here. I have never done either of these.

    You're pretty close to your goal. I wouldn't do a 20% cut. I'd stick with 5-10%.

I could also be a million % wrong. Test it out for a few weeks see how it goes.

I agree with pp-Leslies walks are not really to hard. But if you think the new workout plan burns more cals, you can chose a calorie amount between the two activity levels. It is not written in stone to go with this or the other
