    every wednesday right after i get up & go to the bathroom :)

    I try to weigh in on the wii fit every morning after waking up and after the toilet. If I miss a day, I don't really care since I officially record on Thursday mornings.

    Fluctuations don't bother me so much, since the WiiFit keeps a little chart with all the dots of the weigh ins. If I go up a pound or two, I just zoom out the chart by a week, or a month or a year and you can see the overall picture. All those little dots are forming a cluster of data points that is headed in the general "down" direction. You can look at it like a scatter chart and imagine a trend line along the center of the sample data points and get a better general idea of the actual weight loss. If there's anything that I've learned from being a bio major, generally the more samples that you have, the better chance that you can avoid skewed data due to outliers from random super heavy or super light days.
