Should I up my calorie goal?

Hello!
I self set my calorie goal to 1300 a day, as 1200 seemed a bit ridiculous. Since, I have been reading the forums for a few weeks, and the general viewpoint is that my calorie goal should be the same or more than my BMR. MFP calculates that to be 1474. I'm not hungry or feeling deprived on 1300, and have been losing about 2lb a week. When I work out, I do eat back my exercise calories.
I'm just a bit worried that I'll start filling in those extra calories with sneaky chocolate bars because they're 'allowed' - I don't want to cut anything out or deprive myself of treats, but I want to be sensible and balanced about my diet, which doesn't mean my eating chocolate every day, in my eyes. I'm no foody angel, there are plenty of days I go over my calorie goal anyway...
Should I change my calorie goal?

I say if your not hungry then don't eat, but don't go too low. But it seems you don't have a problem not eating enough. Calculators aren't always correct. You could have a lower BMR than it suggests. Best of luck : )0

I personally suggest that people eat as much as they possibly can while still managing to lose weight. That way if they have to cut calories later on for whatever reason, it isn't a strikingly low figure. That being said, this number varies wildly from person to person. I eat around 1800-2000 calories a day and lose plenty of body fat. Some people maintain eating that much, and yet others may gain...
But finding your sweet spot is easier to do if you aim high at first and then gradually reduce your calories. And you'll probably never have those awful hunger pains doing this.0
