When you eat less calories than your body would use to stay at your present weight you are creating a calorie deficit. When you 1st set up MFP it creates one for you.0

Body fat is your evolutionary protection against starvation during periods of famine, our ancestors would eat at a surplus during times of plenty and store body fat. During periods of famine the fat would save them from starving to death.0 -
