Going tonight to buy a scale @ WalMart .I swore the last one was off, so I threw it away! LOL but when my son got weighed at the doctor , it was right!!! I was shocked. So I still haven't had a scale for months but I know I had gained weight. But being I started on MFP again today, I suppose I will need one...

What is the best one (on a budget)- digital or regular one?

I like the digital scales. It's a matter of which suits you the best.

I can only tell you what I have, which I purchased from amazon.com and have been quite happy with for over a year: http://www.amazon.com/EatSmart-Precision-Digital-Bathroom-Technology/dp/B001KXZ808

I also purchased their kitchen scale and love it. http://www.amazon.com/EatSmart-Precision-Digital-Kitchen-Silver/dp/B001N07KUE/ref=pd_sim_hpc_2

I'm sure you'll get some responses with other suggestions too. There are many good products available.

It's the most accurate way to measure your food.

I luv my weight watchers scale. It's digital. Even came with the batteries. And accurate up to 400 lbs. Nice looking too (clear glass). I got it at Costco for under $20. Walmart might have one like it.

I love my weight watchers one as well! Got mine from Wal-Mart although it was more than $20. Best scale I have ever owned.

I also agree that a kitchen scale is a great thing. Find one that is digital and you can "zero" out the weight of the dish. Makes things so much easier to weigh. For example if you want to find out how much a piece of chicken weighs, put a dish or bowl on the scale, zero that weight out and then place your chicken. Less math involved by having to deduct off the dish and more accurate as well.

They are invaluable for all those little bites. I estimate a lot, but I had some weird things today I just needed to measure. It really helps. Otherwise you're always off.

I got this bathroom scale two weeks ago and really love it. It is VERY stable and has big numbers. It does nothing fancy. It's pretty:

I bought a new scale, a new battery for my heart rate monitor, and a new transmitter strap, I am excited to start tracking my calories with exercise and the heart rate monitor.

Why are you weighing yourself repeatedly throughout the day? And yes, even if accurate it will fluctuate during the day.

If you want to test its accuracy, find something you know the weight of and weigh that.
