    Good morning! I didn't lose all the water weight from over the weekend. In fact, I gained a bit from yesterday's weigh-in. I did well until yesterday afternoon when I got snacky. I also didn't get all my water in.

    B - I love your energy in the morning! :happy: I wish I had it. I feel more like a slug early in the mornings. Part of that is getting to bed so late. I am a night person and always have been. But the kids have to get up at 6:15 am. That doesn't give me much sleep. I'm doing so much better since I started exercising more, but I haven't exercised the last 2 days and I'm starting to feel it. Back to it today!!

    Sandy - Oww! I'm sorry to hear about your future surgery. Hopefully you'll be able to recover in less time than you were told. :flowerforyou: I hate getting the cortizone shot too, but I LOVED how it felt the next day!!! Had one about a year ago for my toe. I was hoping the doc would give me one last time I was there in Oct, but he didn't.

    Amy - I tried WW too. I like logging food here better than the journaling too. Plus, this is FREE!! :happy:

    Amy(pyr)- Way to go girl !!!! :drinker: YOU ROCK ! and yea WW is awesome... but you definately need TIME to pursue that option !

    B- WAY TO GO ! i need one of those heart-rate moniters tooO ! What brand do you use ?!?!? I CANT imagine burning that many cals.... ! i jus estimate it thru one of those online calculators HA ! ... or the WII tells me what i burn when i go on that ! .... good luck girl

    Hello ladies! Sorry I have been MIA. My family has been here visiting so I wasn't on the computer. So overall I'm up 0.2 lbs but I'm still down 4 so I guess I'll be glad about that!
    I finally took the leap and joined that other gym I was mentioning - the one I went to before we moved out here. Funniest thing: a good gym friend / instructor of mine from that gym in my hometown has moved here and is at this new gym! I was so happy to see her. We'd been catching up and I told her that I'd been doing personal training / birth doula stuff until becoming a Mama. I said I would probably re-do my group fitness cert rather than training for now, only because it fits so much better with the idea of any scheduling and she said they really need more teachers for the club (it's the national rather than the provincial certification and very few people here have that so they're in high need). I was excited to hear that and it really got me thinking about whether I should consider doing that now rather than later. Something I have to look in to. Because it's not with the provincial organization there aren't courses offered very often and they're on the mainland but it might be a good idea. Hmm..... :bigsmile: Anyway, it's been great. I got up at 5 yesterday to go to a bodypump class (my first in 7 years) and I had a big dumb grin on my face the whole time. I also started my yoga session last night (taught by one of my closest friends and attended by another of our closest friends) which was 1.5 hours of amazing. Tough after the exhaustion of bodypump but amazing nonetheless. Feeling really positive about making the changes I want to see!

    HEY SIXERS!!!!

    So I am sitting at a table in between classes, eating my TASTY bento box, which i will tell you about later, first, PERSONALS!!!

    Amy!- My motivation SISTER! haha! I debated around for forever on whether or not to get a HRM, and I am SOOOO glad I did. I went ahead and got a Polar F6, it really is worth the price tag, its easy to use, the strap gets a VERY accurate heat beat measurement, it keeps track of my exorcise for a week, it tells me how many calories I burn, and in all honesty I got the pink one, and it looks SUPER cute, I wear it 24/7 as a watch now! haha! YAY special K! I have the fruit and Yogurt cluster kind, I love it! plus I am like a 5 yr old, I love seeing the milk turn Pink! :laugh: and WE CAN DO THIS!!! WE CAN BOTH MEET if not BEAT our goals!!! I know it! we need to remain focus, not give into temptation, and push our selves to be the women we want to be!!! :drinker:

    cathy - OMG! CONGRADULATIONS ON THE 4 POUND LOSS!!! THAT IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!

    Sandy - oh nooooo! Thats such bad news about your leg!!! :cry: But super adorable about the baby! (i LOVE BABIES!!!!) And I really dont have a very good attitude when i first wake up, all of my ex's say I am a (pardon the language) a "*****zilla" the first 5 minutes I am awake, I am also a nightmare to wake up.. I should have a thought bubble permanently plastered above my head when I am sleeping that says "Wake with caution" or "Wake me and Die" hahahaha! :laugh: And to answer your question my birthday is next wednesday, March 31st! I will be turning 20! yay me.... sorta... And yay for you losing the .2 pounds! any loss is a victory!!! Oh and one more side note I LOVE ZOO's! (told you people, I am a 5 yr old stuck in a 19 yr old body!)

    Okay, I think I got everyone, so <3 to everyone who hasnt checked in, and if you are reading this and not planning to check in PLEASE do, we would really like to do a name confirmation, the list of names seems a LOT bigger than the amount of people posting, so Tiff, Tamm, other Amy, Em, and others, We know your busy but just bump so we can make sure your still on the list!!!

    So my bento box, I truly believe I am starting to become a good cook! Today I baked 1/2 of my tofu block, (which I had cut up in 5 long strips, then sliced each of those strips in 3rds) with Nothing on them, I steamed my brown rice in my rice cooker, so that completed 1/2... 4 pieces of baked tofu (small pieces not strips) on top of 1 cup of cooked rice with 1 tablespoon of low sodium soy sauce. The other half was 1/2 of a cucumber sliced, and then diced, with 1 cup up roma tomatoes, which i put 1 teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil (it was low something i just can remember what) and a little bit of Salad spice. Believe it or not, i am learning that the food that goes in my mouth doesnt have to be COVERED in *kitten* for it to taste amazing! It was REALLY good, And I am super full. plus eating with chop sticks allows for one to eat a lot slower!! And all of that only came to 392 calories! :bigsmile:

    On a side note, I just remembered, last night on the phone my boyfriend and i talked about my weight loss journey, what i did in the past, and what I am doing now. He has really been motivating me lately. And last night he challenged me. He challenged me to be a Size 10 by the end of the summer. (oh to explain how this came about I have to tell everyone, Yesterday, for the first time since last spring (when i lost 10 pounds of MFP) I fit into my size 14 pants!!! YAY ME!). He promised me/ bet me, that if I could fit into a size 10, that he would take me on a weekend getaway ALL expenses paid... :bigsmile: So hopefully, I am REALLY praying/going to work, to being a size 10 by mid summer so that I can go all the way to a size 8 be the end of summer! We will see though, need to keep this motivation going for that to happen!!

    Well i ate super healthy today ..... under my cals for the first day in weeks.... it feels like.... got in all my water..... drinking more as i type ..... and got in my 2 miles of walking, 15 mins on the WII FIT, and lots of everyday fitness like cleaning, running errands, etc....

    Okay just signing on before going to bed to finish logging my food and water! And then i thought, Wow I wonder what my Sixers have been up too, so jumped over and saw that the forums havent moved much :( Sad, but it is okay! CUZ WE ARE GOING TO KEEP THE MOTIVATION MOVING!!!! (haha Amy, Verda, and I have enough for everyone! lol!)

    Really tired, so not going to do personals yet, (do them tomorrow morning!) but Amy its sooo true, size 10 = dream size!, yay for us being nerds, and Verda YAY FOR YOUR LOSS! that is great!!!!!!!!! Your sooo motivational!!! Do you have b-day plans?

    Okay so quick, when i left off I was eating my tasty bento box, well I did great the REST of the afternoon, and then my family and I went out to dinner at my FAVORITE restaurant (its a sports bar and grill called Bullfrogs) Anyways for 3 hours before we went I was trying to think of what I could order that would be low cal and healthy, AND NONE OF MY FAVORITES FIT THAT DESCRIPTION!!!! :sad: So I when we got there I was nervous that I would break my streak of goodness and not find anything or that i would try and excuse it and order one of my favorites instead. And I surprised everyone INCLUDING myself when I ordered a Steak salad, with NO dressing, No Extra *kitten*, asked them to give me a small serving of olive oil, and asked them to leave any bead products off the dish. OMG! Plus the dish had potatoes on it, really delish looking potatoes, and here is another thing that shocked even me, Potatoes are one of my BIGGEST weaknesses whether its fries, hash browns, baked, or even raw! (yes i eat raw potatoes lol). I had like 3 of these little pieces of potatoes and then PICKED THE REST OF THEM OUT! I ate my ice berg lettuce and my steak with my little amount of olive oil! haha! I did great!! I AM SOOO immensely proud of myself!

    In my mind, I really committed to my new healthy life style tonight... I feel like I have FINALLY turned the page on my old ways... i mean every day is going to be a struggle, but tonight was a BIG win for me! :drinker:

    Amy, thanks! Yes, I've always wanted to augment my personal training cert with group fitness (I taught dance for YEARS and love teaching generally!) so we'll see what happens. I'm careful not to move too quickly with any longer-term ideas (in this case, longer-term means what I choose to do after I do my cert which looks like it may happen in just 2.5 weeks...way sooner than I would have planned but only once a year here so I can't be picky).

    Amy- YAY! Im glad you did so well yesterday, and I am glad I did too! WE DEF. NEED TO KEEP THIS GOING! We are doing so great, if we keep this going all week our scales are going to drop so much next week! And imagine, if we kept this going for the rest of the challenge we are going to totally meet our goals!!!!

    K so I got up @ six. and almost immediately after my alarm went off I kind of wanted to cry.... I didnt fall asleep til after one last night because my boyfriend and I were on the phone for over 3 HOURS! gahhh and i wish it had been a much better phone call then it had been. Sigh, Sixers, has anyone been in a long distance relationship before? I have been dating my bf going on 6 months now, and since he "Officially" asked me out back in october, our accumulated time together with in the same STATE, has been less than a month!!!!! We are building a long term relationship on 2 months we spent together this summer and three separate weeks of visiting that have been spaced without our relationship. And we pretty much figured out that besides one night in may (when i am heading to the keys to get to my summer job) we really arent going to see each other again until the fall. Talk about a pretty big blow, we will be closing in on 1 year of dating before we REALLY see each other again...
    I need some thoughts, some advice, or something about all of this...

    Time for breakfast, then i need to do some hw, and if i have time PRE-class, I will either go to the gym to work out, or take a nap! haha.

    Good morning ladies!!!

    Rhiannon...How exciting about the training!!! That is something I SO badly want to do someday, and right now it seems SO out of the picture! I'm actually considering canceling my gym membership (which makes me want to cry) because I never get the time to go. I work until about 3:30 every day, come home and want to spend time with Kadence. Then I have to feed her, make dinner for my husband and myself, then play a little more with Kadence before I give her a bath and get her to bed. Then I do the dishes, check my emails and go to bed myself. That is what I do EVERY day! I've been good lately and get on the treadmill for maybe 30 minutes if I can and when it's nice out, I usually take Kadence for a walk, but I NEVER get to the gym. And I SO miss BodyPump and Spinning classes! And it's going to be even harder when my husband starts back to work (which should be within another week or two) because he sometimes doesn't get home until 8 or 9 at night! So, that means even if I wanted to part with my daughter for an hour in the evening to work out, I can't! It SO bums me out! I think back to before baby and how much exercise was a part of my life and it really brings me to tears! I miss it! When I'm on the treadmill struggling to continue running, I am so frustrated by how out of shape I am!! I still have SO much to lose! And that doesn't even count all the muscle I need to regain! On a bit brighter note, we inherited a weight bench and weights from a friend that we are hopefully going to get set up in our basement soon. I'm hoping that I can kind of remember the bodypump routines so that I can do them at home on my own because I saw such great results when I used to do those! IDK...maybe when Kadence is a little bigger I will be comfortable to take her to the daycare in the gym for an hour while I catch a BodyPump class a couple times a week. But right now I can't see myself doing that...I already feel like I have no time with my little baby! I'm sorry to vent to you...I just look up to you so much and you've helped me through some tough times in the past!

    B...I'm so sorry about the long distance relationship. I don't know how you do it! I really have no advice since it's not something I've ever done, but I do wish you the best of luck! I hope it all works out the way you'd like it to! And congrats on your WONDERFUL job at the restaraunt!!! What great will-power!! I hope I can follow your example!

    Everyone else...HELLO!

    So...aside from my vent to Rhiannon above, I'm doing okay. I'm two for two with workouts so far this week. Monday it was a lovely walk with my husband, daughter, and both dogs! And last night I got in a half hour treadmill workout with running, jogging, and power walking. I'm hoping to continue the streak tonight!! As far as eating goes, I haven't been so good. Last night I over-did it with 2 hotdogs AND 2 brats! What was I thinking?! And the night before it was ice cream that did me in (not a little but a LOT)! Tonight my goal is to be UNDER in calories!!!! I WILL succeed!!! The rest of this week will be iffy as I'm eating whatever is left in our house since we are LOW on cash until I get paid on Friday...then I will stock the house with some healthy foods! I'm SO looking forward to it! I've been craving salad since Sunday!

    Well...I need to get started on some work. Hope you are all well!!!

    Kristin - yay on the exercise!!!! How are you doing with your water!?!?? And don't worry bout the extra food, your trying to work on it, and I believe that you will accomplish it!!!!!!! :bigsmile: And yes, its been really rough, and I know it stands a chance of getting rougher... so i hope it all works out too!


    small update on me, (SMALL I SWEAR) I couldnt stay awake, so from 8-9 i napped, and now i need to make sure i get my homework done before 10:15 or so... And since I woke up, things havent really been good, I spilled my bowl of special K all over my floor, which for some odd reason made my cry (i really dont know why) then my curiosity got to me and i wanted to know what I weighed, and I jumped on a scale only to discover I STILL weigh 204.8.... which is BS in my mind... so im going to ignore that I weighed in and resume my day hoping that the rest of it turns out well!

    AWWH ladies. I'm so glad to see that everyone is doing well. WELL I actually had to buy a NETBOOK, one of those smaller computers just so I could use the internet at home. Boy did I miss you all! It's weird bc Tiff and I were both without internet and thats rare. I guess I had to deal with my REAL life a little more over those days!

    Monday I made an offer on the house that I had decided would work, after carefully and obsessively thinking. LOL. So the house was listed at 126,500 and never reduced after a year. Therefore, I offered 105K and asking for half of the closing cost, which is OBVIOUSLY something sellers do in this market. Well the counter offer was for 129K. YES that's higher than the original list price. I LAUGHED and I'm finish with that deal. I just believe they aren't ready to sell. OF course I realized they would counter with a higher offer and I had set in my mind not to pay more than 112-115 for the house. So I'm off tomorrow so I have to drive down again and try to find something else I like before the market rules change on April 1st. CRAZY!!! STRESSED? Maybe but I'm taking it as it comes! Oh I guess a good thing is my credit is great and I was approved for 415K. I would NEVER get that much in debt with all my student loan debt. I see how people can easily get in over their head.

    I just wanted to tell everyone it is official, I have bad luck today, I banged my knee, and just a minute ago i ripped a hole in my ONLY pair of jeans... I am upset... its going to take a lot today for me to stay sane and not give in...
