    Wow everyone is doing so great. Keep up the good work. Today is my day off of swimming. That's good because Tom is here. I never know when the visit will come. I would just as soon not have Tom around since i don't want to have it during my cruise. Darn! Well I hope that i can swim tomorrow.

    I have 2 friends doing this diet where they take a liquid... HGC I think .... They can eat a protein, 2 veggies, 1 fruit for lunch and the same for dinner. It's about 550 calories a day. The HGC is supposed to be a harmone that women produce when pregnant. Has anyone ever heard of this. I asked if it was safe and one of friends said that it was. She couldn't lose 1 lb a week. Who can do that and stay motivated. Well girls and guys.... we can! We are doing it everyday. I was very proud of myself and all the people on MFP. Good job to us! Tell me your thoughts on this.

    Ran 3.5m iles after work.... Tried to eat healthy all day, Hoping for some progress soon. I'm tired of going around the same mountain. I am going to reach my goal. Eating healthy and exercising. I can do this.

    tiff-- it gets frustrating..... doesnt it?? but its usually something going on ... either your working out great but not eatng ENOUGH for the amount of exercise..... or your not exercising ENOUGH ! lol usually one of the two ! you will figure it out girl ! keep up the great work!

    Sandy -- wow what a crazy diet lol ... i am a firm believer in NOT putting strange things into your body ..... weird pills, hormones that you dont need, etc.... CRAZY ! .... way to go on swimming ! keep it up ! your doing GREAT !

    I got TOM this morning and i weighed in at 266.... so i cant wait for saturdays weigh in ! woohoooo usually my body reacts strangely and i gain weight before AF ... so i may have an awesome weigh in next TUESDAY for official weigh in ..... sooooo excited :tongue:
    im taking it easy this morning .... cuz ive worked out 60 minutes every day for the past week.... so im going to do a nice stretchy yoga workout to ease my muscles later when wyatt naps....

    ALSO.... another mini victory .... :flowerforyou: we made home-made lasagna last night and i ONLY ATE one serving, a salad, and 2 small slices of garlic bread..... I CAN TELL YOU our lasagna is a weakness of mines but i was smart... i invited company over.... so it wouldnt be an entire pan left.... its one small piece of lasagna left... which i will have with a spinach salad for lunch or dinner today !

    over 2 miles on treadmill this morning. 50 mins. 4 cups water down.

    going to be a long stressful day. i am going to try not to eat it. i will talk about it when i find out this afternoon what is going to happen to us. please say a prayer for us.

    Morning all.

    Was home sick yesterday...blah! And poor Kadence is still stuffy, but she is feeling much better. Monday night she has a temp of 103 and so we had a fun evening of breaking her fever and trying to get her to sleep. We think it's due to teething, but who knows. And me, I'm still all stuffy today. Oh well. So I didn't get a workout in yesterday or Monday evening, but have been making good choices food wise. Tonight I'm planning on getting in a walk since it's suppose to be 80 DEGREES!!! Wooohooo!!! I have been SO anticipating this weather! Can't wait to enjoy it!

    Well...to all of you who have lost...congrats!!! And to all of you who have gained...no worries! And for the new challenge...idk...like I've said before, I not so creative to come up with names....especially with my fuzzy head this morning. SO...who has some? I know there are some creative minds out there!!! Let's hear them!

    Good morning! I'm not really good with coming up with names either. I like the idea of having something with spring in the name.

    I was happy to get my walk in yesterday to pick up the kids. I haven't done Shred in a little over a week though. We've been doing a spring cleaning/decluttering of our house lately, so I've been working on that instead of exercising. Right now it's been more of the decluttering than the cleaning. I did get some "exercise" in last night. Our over-the-range microwave needed to be replaced. We think it had been dropped when being installed before we bought the house. It had started cracking and making a loud noise, but it's been getting worse. So time for a new one! Since Tony's shoulder is messed up, I needed to help him with lifting and bracing it to install it.

    I just realized I haven't mentioned my husband's shoulder injury. 2 weeks from today Tony will be going in for surgery on his right shoulder. Remember when we redid the floors in the living room in January? He did the "manly" thing (or "stupid male" thing?) of carrying the love seat out to the garage by himself instead of waiting a few minutes for me to help. As a result, he heard a crack in that shoulder. Finally after it wasn't getting any better on it's own or w/ medicine, he got an MRI. He tore the cartilage about 70% of the way around the shoulder joint & ruptured the bicep tendon. He'll be in a brace to keep the shoulder completely immobile for about 6 weeks after surgery. So I'm not sure whether to ask for prayers/positive thoughts for him or for me! :laugh:

    Although, it is so sweet watching the children kissing his shoulder to "help it feel better". :love:

    Oh, Amy, I'm so sorry! Trust me - you will need the thoughts and prayers!! My husband had rotator cuff surgery a couple years ago. They couldn't do the small incision one either - they had to cut him open. He was unbearable to live with for the next 3 months. I swear I wanted to kick him to the curb after that. I'm sure your husband is a lot more easy going than mine though. Good luck and lots of prayers for you. :flowerforyou:

    Amy - sorry to hear about your hubbies shoulder. Men are so impatient with healing. They never think they are, but they are!

    Kristen - teething can be so horrible. Some children just struggle with it.

    Lulabelle - that is some weight lose. Good job.

    Amy s - I don't think that this diet thing that my friends are doing is good either. It's their choice.

    It was 87 degrees today. It went from the 50's to the 80's..... Where was spring? Didn't go swimming today.... TOM... just didn't feel okay with it. I was so tired last nite fell asleep early. I feel the same tonite. Well chat later everyone.

    TAMTAM Love you sis... don't worry about the gain, it's only a few pounds. Let the stress subside and then get back on the weight removal... til then just tread weight. You have enough to worry about. I LOVE YA!

    P.s. I have run EVERY day this week and TWICE today! :-) This weight MUST get away from me! lol. Just wait... I am going to start heading in the right dirrection! not to mention I ate healthy today for the most part!

    Amy - Sorry to hear about your hubby's shoulder. But as a medical transcriptionist, I write multiple reports a week for that surgery and he should be doing "manly things" again soon enough.

    Kristen - Poor Kadence. Teething can be as hard on the mommy as it can on the little ones. I hope YOU are feeling better too.

    B - 200 is right around that corner. Keep workin it girl!

    Cathy - Great job on the treadmill. Back in action

    bahamomma - Can't wait to hear what your official weight loss is Saturday. Next Tuesday, you'll end this challenge as a "loser".

    Tamm - No worries on the weight gain. Could be water and sodium. But great job on working hard. It will pay off.

    Trying to figure out when to get a run in today as kids are off from school and with me ALL day. Might just have to take them with me. Supposed to go roller skating with my daughter and her friends tonight. But yesterday, my daughter accidentally hit my ankle with a shopping cart to the point where I was almost on the floor throwing up and crying it hurt that bad. Now I just have a bruise and am not sure those skates are going to feel good. But we will give it a try.

    I DID IT!!!! I wanted to get some sort of exercise in, but my day involving everyone else started at 6 a.m. (about 1.5 hours earlier than normal). I resolved to go running for 3 miles, but was nervous about the dark. The only place to run that was well-lit started off with this massive hill that usually I can't even WALK up. But I was determined...and DID IT!!! As a matter of fact, after conquering the hill, I felt like the rest of the run was a breeze. Well, at least until that branch jumped in front of me and gave me a slightly black eye (fortunately at the end of the run). So now my exercise is out of the way and my day has begun.
